Certain Requirements That As Of The Time You Register You Agree To Meet
Each team member who runs in the event will be officially registered and will sign a release form. We will provide the release forms closer to the event.
Each team with 3 or more runners from within 20 miles of any point on the course is required to contribute 3 volunteers.
Each team shall provide a reasonably accurate projection as to the amount of time it will take to complete the course. If your team roster changes, we need to be aware of your revised projection. It is very important that teams give a realistic projection. We use these times to determine when to staff exchange points with volunteers, and to determine when to assign highway patrolmen to monitor certain sections of the course. Inaccurate projections jeopardize the event: they create safety issues for teams, volunteers, and motorists. Any team who is significantly ahead or behind its projected times at any part of the relay may be subject to certain penalties, such as being directed to drop out of the event, not receiving their medals at the finish, not being listed in the final results, and/or not being allowed to participate in future relays.
Each team must have two vehicles to transport its runners. Vans or sports utility vehicles are preferred. No oversized vehicles such as buses, motor homes and limousines are allowed.
